Who We Are/What we do

Volunteers rebuilding a roof

LivingStone, Inc. (LSI) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization offering home repair and renovation services to qualified , lower-income homeowners in the WV counties of Putnam, Cabell, Kanawha, Lincoln, Jackson and Wood.

We are a group of individuals who take pride in helping others. We are ambassadors of service to our communities, specializing in making homes safe, dry and warm for those in need. We have a commercial contractor, project engineer, realtor, clergy, business owners, and bank executives on our Board of Directors. We are friends and neighbors with common goals for sharing safe and comfortable living with our surrounding neighborhoods and communities.

Some of our projects are:

  • Building porches and decks with wheelchair ramps
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Making bathrooms handicap accessible
  • Coating and repairing roofs
  • Pressure Cleaning
  • Lawn Clean-up, planting shrubs, etc.

We partner with other agencies that have an interest in providing these services, as well as with city and county programs, neighborhood associations, religious and civic organizations and the community at large.
